My host has disabled the email sending as an anti-spam measure, will the site still be able to send emails to the users?
The configuration options page in the admin panel allows you to configure an external SMTP server to send the emails. If for example you have a gmail account, you can configure the Google's SMTP server (or any other email server you may prefer)
to send the emails and in this way to not depend on your host email restrictions and
the site to still be able to send successfully emails to the users.
