New features added in the latest v3.0 PHP Links Directory
An entirely new administration panel
We created an entirely new and much improved administration panel to allow better and easier management of the directory, its settings, website pages, admin users and others.
New Links Inspector functionality to check and keep the links on the site always fresh
Having links to not working sites or expired domains can be bad for both the directory reputation and SEO since search engines like Google can use dead links as a negative ranking factor.The new Links Inspector functionality allows the administrator to check automatically the website links or also to check them manually and mark for deletion the not working links / sites.
New functionality to customize easily the site colors
The website colors and the main accent color can be now changed with a single click. You can choose one of the predefined colors or enter your own HTML color code, so you can choose a color matching your logo or your corporate identity.
New functionality to set custom titles and meta tags for the categories
With this new functionality the administrator can set his own custom titles for selected categories and meta tags to improve SEO.New page in the admin panel for adding easily Google AdSense advertisements
In earlier versions in order to add advertisements like Google AdSense or similar, it was necessary to paste their code in the template. In this new version we added a new special page in the admin panel allowing to add easily Google Adsense advertisements in the different website zones - top, bottom and side column.
New feature for selecting the directory running mode
The previous version was available in DMOZ, Extended and Business Directory editions - the new one now includes the possibility for the administrator to set DMOZ or Extended mode (and includes the features of both) and the Business Directory Edition is now PHP Business Directory.Functionality to set if reviews are enabled, website image / logo and the date when the listings are posted
It's now easy to enable or disable the reviews of the website listings, configure if the users should be able to upload an image or logo for their site and other directory settings from the new Directory Options page in the admin panel.
