The dashboard of the admin panel shows quick statistics information about the website visits, the last received contact messages and has shortcuts to the pages for managing the website news, website pages and others.

When the "modern look" is selected, the dashboard shows a quick preview of the website with a link to the Site Editor page and links / tiles to the main pages in the admin panel.

The Site Editor page shows a quick preview of the website and allows to edit the texts on the site (to edit a text it's necessary to click on it and an edit field will show up) and also add news or new pages to the site.

Website pages management

This is the main page in the administration panel that can be used to add new pages to the website, change the order and position of the pages, change the page settings (clicking on a page shows the different options like changing the page meta tags, description etc.) and edit the page content.

Management PRO mode to edit the website structure and content

The "Professional" mode of management of the website shows the classic interface (used prior to version 4 and not using drag-and-drop) - instead of dragging the pages, it allows to change their order by clicking on the arrows next to the page names. It offers also different options when clicking on a page like setting a custom extension for it (php file with custom code to be executed for the page), edit directly the HTML of the page or use a WYSIWYG editor, set custom meta tags and others.

Adding news on the website

The page allows the administrator to add news on the website, which are shown then on the News page on the main site and also in the Latest News section in the side column.

Website colors management

The colors management page in the admin panel makes easy to change all the colors on the website with a single click and also set the layout mode (wide or boxed), set a background and others.

Adding new languages on the website

To create a multi-language website, it's necessary to add the languages from the Language Versions page in the admin panel as shown on the screenshot. The users have a choice and can select the language they prefer by clicking on the corresponding flag icon.

Setting a password protection for the website

The functionality for password protecting the website can be useful if the access to the main site should be limited only to users who know the password. It can be used also when the site is still in a development mode, to hide the site from web visitors.

Adding Google AdSense advertisements or Google Analytics tracking code

To add Google Analytics tracking code or Google AdSense advertisements, it's only necessary to paste their code in the corresponding fields.

Custom tags management and website extensions

The custom tags and website extensions feature provides powerful functionality to extend the default functionality of the website by adding files with own php code to be executed for the different pages on the website. If the custom code should be executed and shows just on some particular position in the template, then a custom tag can be created and inserted at the desired position and the file with the php code to be set to be executed for it.

F.A.Q. Manager

The Frequently Asked Question manager page in the administration panel can be used to create pages with frequently asked questions and answers on the main website.

Adding new user groups in the admin panel

WebSiteAdmin makes possible to create different user groups and administrator users for the admin panel and set different permissions for them (this feature can be useful if more people / administrators should work on the website and to create for each of them an user with the necessary permissions).
